Participatory arts working with young people in Worcestershire
Who We Are
We believe in the power of the arts to build skills and empower people to go and change the world. We develop participant focused workshops across art forms to inspire and educate, and collaborate with communities to engage young people.
We are built around four key ethe: CONVERSATION, TRANSPARENCY, DISRUPTION and LEGACY. Read more about them all below.
As you learn more about what we do, you'll discover that conversation is at the heart. Conversation between us, young people and their communities. Conversation between artists and those in positions of power. Conversation helps us to explore different perspectives and share ideas.
We are a proud Living Wage accredited organisation. This means we pay all those who work for us the recommended living wage (higher than the National Living Wage). We publish learning from all of our programmes, and aim to be honest with ourselves and others at where we can be better.
Disruption is about causing fusses in places where it is useful and makes a difference. Disruption is about ensuring that all voices are heard, including young people, and ensuring that the work we do is in keeping with the direction that communities want to move.
We don't want to be a hit and run workshop factory, we want to build programmes that make changes to individuals and develop relationships.
We also want to ensure equal access to the arts both at a participatory and professional level, future proofing young people and exploring challenges affecting the sector.
